IMPOSSIBLE MEDIA TO PERFORM ECOMMERCE STRATEGY FOR THE INDITEX GROUP AND THE ZARA CLOTHING RETAIL OUTLETS

The Inditex Group is one of the worlds largest fashion distributors, with eight unique brand and sales formats that include Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Kiddy's Class.

Currently represented in over 5.221 stores in 78 countries, with headquarters in Arteixo, in the province of A Coruna, Galicia, in northwestern Spain. Inditex, inline with their retail and commercial strategy have chosen Impossible Media to assist them with the first stage of their ecommerce strategy aimed at launching an eshop and online shopping capabilities in 5 European countries.

The initial pilot is seen to create an internet commercial strategy that is supportive to the Inditex retail and commercial strategy and one that will allow the successful creation of a blueprint strategic approach that can then be implemented across incremental countries and continents.

With some 1557 Zara retail stores, it is imperative that the internet commercial strategy and resulting eshops not undermine or take consumer focus from the high-street and physical presence of Zara but rather support the shopping process.

The initial pilot and eshop presence will launch in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal on 2 September.
